Superficially moderate and gentle expressions of Christian Nationalism have a way of escalating into demands for totalitarian Christian control over society, even to the point of using violence to achieve that control. Christian Nationalists are telling us what they want to do to America, and what they propose is not at all gentle. So, we hear some Christian Nationalist voices, like that of Margaret Grun Kibben, softly promoting the same ideology as that of wild extremists such as Nick Fuentes. It’s easy sometimes to believe that this soft tone represents a kind and gentle version of Christianity.
