To the Christian Nationalists who demand that their claims that the United States is owned by an invisible cosmic spirit who wants everyone to vote Republican be taken seriously, I say this:

I will listen to your arguments in favor of Christian Nationalism as soon as you show me Jesus’s birth certificate and voter registration.

You see, I am beginning to suspect that Jesus is not an American citizen, and has no standing to interfere in our country’s politics.
