Theological Implications Of Donald Trump Being Anointed By God

While Donald Trump was President of the United States, Christian Nationalists asserted that he had been anointed by the Christian god, divinely selected to rule the USA.

Since then, things have changed.

For one thing, Donald Trump lost the election in 2020. Now, Trump is under multiple criminal investigations and is losing favor in the Republican Party.

How could that happen, if the all-powerful Christian god wants Trump to be President? Christian Nationalism doesn’t have an answer for that.

Donald Trump has been widely acknowledged as the worst President in American history. He was ignorant, incompetent, and destructive, leaving the USA in worse shape than when he found it.

If Donald Trump actually was anointed by the Christian god, then this god has some really serious psychological problems.
