Christians support autocratic leaders like Donald Trump because their bible tells them that moral leaders act like kings and lords. Kings and lords are not elected, and they don’t answer to the people. They simply claim power and apply it without regard to the desires of the people underneath them. That’s how the Christian god operates, too.
