Jesus Didn’t Speak English And Wasn’t An American Citizen

The concept of American Christian Nationalism is inherently absurd. Jesus was not American. The USA wouldn’t exist for 1,700 years from the founding of Christianity. The two things are historically disconnected.

Christian Nationalists promote the idea that European-American identity is the best thing ever, and then expect Christianity to follow from that, forgetting that Jesus was neither European nor American.

Memo to Christian Nationalists: Your messiah was not an American citizen and didn’t speak English.
